Cookie Notice
A short, plain-language explanation of the cookies and similar technologies we use — and how to turn off the ones that are optional.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies, like data stored in your browser's local storage, for the same purposes. This notice explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.
2. Essential cookies
These keep the Service working and secure: staying signed in, remembering your session, and protecting against fraud. Without them, Budgetify AI cannot function, so they are always on and are not subject to the consent choice below.
3. Analytics cookies
We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used — which features help people, and where things break — so we can improve it. This only runs if you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, or in your choice below. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
4. Other third-party tools
Our in-app chat widget (for support) and a lightweight, privacy-focused page-view counter may load their own scripts when you visit. Neither is used for advertising or for building a profile about you across other sites.
5. Your choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time from the banner shown when you first visit, or by clearing your browser's site data for budgetifyai.com to see the banner again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, though this may affect how well the Service works.
6. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
